3Si has worked with the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation (BMGF) for over a decade. While there are too many projects to describe here, a particular focus has been in the early learning field.
3Si is providing BMGF with research, analytics, and strategy to increase school readiness and access to high quality early learning for low-income and vulnerable children.
3Si synthesized the research and analytics into options by which BMGF can make informed choices about cultivating specific interventions to help drive and improve child outcomes.
3Si has also supported multiple early learning technology and data projects, including assessments of child care search capabilities, early learning workforce analytics and data, early learning facility capital investments, partnerships to improve data related to child care resource and referral networks, tiered child care subsidy reimbursements, and kindergarten readiness data and evaluation.
Previously, 3Si supported projects in global development. 3Si developed a database to assess and highlight results from the Gates Foundation’s $1 billion Agricultural Development grant portfolio and assessed how to better capture direct farmer feedback using technology in Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda, and Zambia.
