Jon works with 3Si clients to understand their vision for their future, assess their current state of technology and, with his expertise in multiple platforms, identify a clear path to achieve their goals.
Jon—JW to his colleagues—is an expert at migrating data operations from on-premise to the Cloud, providing instant scalability, cost savings, and performance. He looks at a problem holistically so he can diagnose the root cause and apply an appropriate solution. Jon also educates 3Si clients on Cloud technologies, tailoring his approach to his technical or non-technical audience.
Over his 20-year career, Jon has built data solutions on just about every platform. These days, he spends most of his time in the Cloud, but he started his career on IBM Mainframes, creating handy solutions in MS Access/VBA and constructing on-premise MPP database solutions in Teradata and Vertica. Earlier in his career, Jon was a founding member of Cardlytics (CDLX), worked at Amazon and SEOMoz in Seattle, WA, and spent time in the financial services industry.
Jon holds a BA in Business Administration, Management Information Systems from Iowa State University.
